SCF GOLF CHALLENGE...calling all amateur golfers
Think you're a good golfer? - SCF is seeking to identify the best amateur golfers in Lambton county
Here's the chance to let everyone know how good you are...It's easy to participate.
Unlike a regular golf tournament which requires that you play at a specific time on a specific day regardless of the weather or your personal schedule,all you need to do is play all five of Sarnia Lambton's participating 18-hole golf courses at any time before the end of the challenge.
Final rankings of the top 50% of all men and women participants (to save any potential embarrassment) and awards will be announced at the “SCF Day of Celebration” event … as well as published in local newspapers for all to see.
Here's how to register and play
- Register for the Golf Challenge by contacting your Sarnia Community Foundation (SCF) office either in person or by phone (519 332 2588).
- Complete 18 holes with at least two other registered golfers at all five participating golf courses before the end of the challenge.
- Arrange your tee times as normal at each of the five participating golf courses
- Pick up a pre-numbered SCF Play Card at each golf course (along with their own score card) when paying for your green fees
- After the round, enter each golfer’s 18-hole score on the SCF Play Card. Sign the SCF Play Card confirming the accuracy of each other’s scores. Return the signed SCF Play Card (along with your completed golf course score card) to the golf course. We'll collect them, and collate the results.
