The Susan Moffatt Scholarship was created with the goal of providing financial assistance to a graduating secondary school student who plans to further their education at the university or college level, with a primary focus on history, education or health science studies. The recipient of this scholarship will have faced a personal physical or mental health challenge in their life and have prevailed despite that challenge.
To apply: Please write a letter addressed to the Scholarship committee and deliver it to the Community Foundation office by June 15th.
The letter should be a a minimum of 500 words but no more than 1000 .
In the letter, you should describe your own physical or mental health challenge and how you have prevailed in life despite this challenge. Explain how this challenge has motivated you to pursue post-secondary studies with a focus on history , education or a health related curricula and describe your career goals which completion of a college of university degree programme in history, education or health sciences will enable you to pursue.
